Leadership Richardson is an opportunity for individuals to invest in the future of Richardson. May 2006 marks the graduation of Class XXI, bringing the total number of graduates of the program to 732.
Graduates have a broad understanding of the challenges facing the community and seek new and creative ways to approach these challenges.
Since the 1986 inaugural class, graduates of Leadership Richardson have made a significant contribution to the dynamics of the Richardson community. Leadership Richardson prepares graduates for positions of responsibility and decision-making in the community. Our graduates are serving as elected officials and volunteer chairs of community activities and projects, Chamber of Commerce boards and committees, City of Richardson boards and commissions, and non-profit boards and foundations.
The Leadership Richardson Alumni Association provides graduates with a continuing opportunity to develop and renew business, civic and cultural contacts throughout the community. In addition, the Alumni Association sponsors the Richardson Youth Leadership program for RISD high school juniors.
